For who
The main audience of the project is entrepreneurs of the SME level, employees of universities and research organizations interested in finding partners for long-term business and technological cooperation, primarily international.
What participants will receive
1) the opportunity to post information about your suggestions and needs,
2) get acquainted with the proposals and needs of colleagues from Russia and other countries,
3) select projects of interest, and enter into negotiations with the authors of these projects.

Project activities aimed at the following areas of cooperation:

1. Supporting business cooperation and internationalization of SMEs

This area includes services aimed at establishing B2B cooperation between Russian and other countries' small and medium enterprises.
The main services in this area:
 — Identification and description of the business potential (offers) and / or business needs (requests) focused on the search of partners within the countries participating in the project;
 — Dissemination of business offers and requests and finding the relevant partners;
 — Provision of services in potential business partners search, based on needs of Russian and other countries' companies;
— Assistance in establishing primary contacts between Russian and other countries' SMEs and conducting preliminary negotiations;
 — Other services (perhaps on a contractual basis): investment, management, legal and other consulting services for small and medium-sized businesses.
2. Technology and knowledge transfer


This area includes assistance in technology and knowledge transfer, to enhance technological cooperation between Russian and other countries' SMEs and research organizations.
The main services in this area:
— Identification and description of the technological potential (offers) and / or technology needs (requests) focused on the search of partners within the countries participating in the project;
 — Dissemination of technological offers and requests and finding the relevant partners;
 — Establishing and facilitating the exchange of primary contacts between Russian and other countries' partners;
 — Assistance in establishing primary contacts between Russian and other countries' SMEs and conducting preliminary negotiations;
— Advising and supporting customers in the field of innovation, technology transfer and commercialization;
 — Other services (perhaps on a contractual basis): the development of business plans, intellectual property protection, the organization of participation in exhibitions, including international events, and other services.
3.International research & development project in science and technology

This area aimed at establishing partnership between Russian and other countries' SMEs and research organizations to participate in international programs of the Innovation Infrastructure Institutes of the Russian Federation, including FASIE, as well as in other Research and Development Projects and Programs organized by private and public entities of Russia and other countries.
The main services in this area:
— Providing information support to customers (SMEs, research organizations and universities), including informing about existing programs and open competitions;
— Information and consultation on terms and conditions of participation in such programs.
— Preparation and implementation of search queries for relevant Russian and other countries' partners.
— Dissemination of research and development requests and finding the relevant partners.
— Establishing and facilitating the exchange of primary contacts between Russian and other countries' partners.
— Other services upon request (perhaps on a contractual basis).
How it works
The core of the process is Business and Technology Partnership Opportunities Database (Hereinafter “Database”) where organizations interested in international cooperation can place the following types of structured information (profiles): Business Requests (BR) and Business Offers (BO) and Technology Requests (TR) and Technology Offers (TO), as well as Research and Development Requests (RDR). There is a specific template for each kind of profile.

The partnering process for the organization begins with checking the Database, to see if there are any profiles, which already match its needs and interests. If this is not the case, then entering a profile in the Database through the Network’s IT Platform can be considered.
Published profiles are visible to everyone in the world and are one of the key tools available to the Network to help participating organizations to find the right partner for their international activity. Once a potential cooperation partner, who matches the requirements of a specific profile, is identified, company sends him an Expression of Interest (EoI).
If the organization behind the profile and the organization behind the "EoI made" agree that their interests match, the partnership process moves to the next stage — negotiations and assistance to reach partnership.
